Whimsical is born out of “failure”. I was commissioned to do a painting however, due to the size of the painting, it was not taken up, who eventually purchased another commissioned piece. The original Whimsical was hanging up in my home for several months and every time I walked past it, I was not happy with it. Due to the fact that it was now mine to do what I want with it, I decided, I am going to do exactly that and repaint the whole canvas which I did!
